Last year, my sister and I experimented with this concept. See the blur of the lights? margin_top=&#8221;&#8221; margin_bottom=&#8221;&#8221; class=&#8221;&#8221; id=&#8221;&#8221;]Let&#8217;s get your bokeh on![\/fusion_title][fusion_text]<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>First, set your camera to Aperture priority.<\/li>\n<li>Use a low f-stop number such as f1.8, f1.4, or f2.8.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust the shutter speed so it&#8217;s fast&#8211; something like 1\/50 second or faster should work. The slower the shutter speed the more blurry everything will be instead of the look of individual lights like in the above photos.<\/li>\n<li>If you find yourself in a low light setting, and the photo is too dark&#8211; adjust the ISO to a higher number. Remember, the higher ISO, the more grain will be in the photo.<\/li>\n<li>Next, <em>move the subject<\/em> (if you&#8217;re using one) <em>close<\/em>, and the <em>background further away<\/em>. If you are not using a subject, you&#8217;ll need to manually focus the lens.
