Today is my 25th birthday! Hooray\u2014 a quarter century! I\u2019m spending my birthday driving for 11-12 hours to San Diego to see Brighton\u2019s brother, Chase in sunny California. We\u2019ve been talking about visiting for a while, and Thanksgiving seemed like a great time to drive out. The weather in SLC is turning cold and wet, and I\u2019m in denial that winter exists still. Winter is fun for a brief period, then it\u2019s just annoying. (My Floridian is showing, I know)<\/p>\n

In honor of the special day, I wanted to do a list of 25 things that I want to do in my 25th year.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Expand more into the wedding photography industry.<\/li>\n
  2. Make my photography business a more substantial income.<\/li>\n
  3. Buy a house.<\/li>\n
  4. Go back to Glacier National Park.<\/li>\n
  5. Go on a 5 day backpacking trip on the John Muir Trail.<\/li>\n
  6. Learn how to outdoor rock climb.<\/li>\n
  7. Expand my recipe\/cooking repertoire.<\/li>\n
  8. Learn to relax, and have more downtime in my life.<\/li>\n
  9. Build more savings and pay off more debt.<\/li>\n
  10. Visit Maroon Bells in Colorado during the summer.<\/li>\n
  11. Hike Antelope Canyon\/The Wave in Arizona.<\/li>\n
  12. Road trip cross-country with Brighton, visiting friends along the way.<\/li>\n
  13. See at least 4 more US National Parks.<\/li>\n
  14. Learn off-camera flash techniques.<\/li>\n
  15. Get better at using Photoshop for photography.<\/li>\n
  16. Continue to build my photography network.<\/li>\n
  17. Decorate my house and make it a home.<\/li>\n
  18. Make yoga & the gym a habit.<\/li>\n
  19. Visit the Northeast US.<\/li>\n
  20. Celebrate our first anniversary!<\/li>\n
  21. Continue to blog life experiences, hikes and trips.<\/li>\n
  22. Read more books.<\/li>\n
  23. Get TSA pre-check and go home more often.<\/li>\n
  24. Lose weight and get in shape.<\/li>\n
  25. Get a dog… maybe!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
