I completely forgot about the power conversion. I know I saw a light when I plugged it in but then it\u2019s supposed to flash while it\u2019s charging. It wasn\u2019t flashing after that and then it wasn\u2019t charged when I was ready to brush my teeth for the night. The brush still flashes though, so it\u2019s probably just the charger. That sucks.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hilaryintransition.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCN1154_1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-785\" title=\"DSCN1154_1\" src=\"http:\/\/hilaryintransition.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCN1154_1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" height=\"442\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hilaryintransition.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCN1149_6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-787\" title=\"DSCN1149_6\" src=\"http:\/\/hilaryintransition.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/DSCN1149_6-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" height=\"442\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We were supposed to have our dolphin encounter today, which I was super pumped about, but we couldn\u2019t swim because there were no dusky dolphins. We saw hector dolphins from the boat though which are very rare. The biggest excitement of the day was seeing the humpback whale from the boat. It was showing off for us. Our guide told us they only show their tale if they are diving down for food or showing off for us! <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-smiley\" src=\"http:\/\/hilaryintransition.com\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/icon_smile.gif\" alt=\":)\" \/>Apparently the dolphins are harder to find during the winter and that it\u2019s rare that they can\u2019t find any for us to swim with. There\u2019s a first for everything, right? I\u2019m just glad the weather held off. It\u2019s supposed to rain later this week in our next location though.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow we\u2019re moving on to Nelson. I\u2019m just excited that we don\u2019t have to be in a camp-like setting, the way we have been in Kaikoura. Think communal bathrooms that you have to walk to in the middle night and six minute TIMED hot showers. It\u2019s not terrible, but not ideal either. Whatever, it\u2019s all part of the adventure.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hilaryintransition.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3488_.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-786\" title=\"IMG_3488_!\" src=\"http:\/\/hilaryintransition.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG_3488_-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" height=\"442\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We spent the last night adventuring to the grocery store and cooking a family meal on the grill. It ended up as a melting pot of foods, but that was the fun part! As I sit outside writing this, I just had a huge train pass by behind our accommodations.
