How does summer always end up going by so quickly? While I love each of the seasons for different reasons, the summer is always seems full of possibilities looking forward in April\/May, and then suddenly, it\u2019s over by September. Time is a funny creature that seems to elude me constantly. While my latest posts have been from Switzerland, I am already lightyears ahead in my real life.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-4715 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0002-1024x506.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"506\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0002-1024x506.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0002-300x148.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0002-768x379.jpg 768w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0002-1170x578.jpg 1170w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0002-585x289.jpg 585w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0002.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">My coworkers have this running joke at this point about how I am always going off on long adventures every weekend (mostly because of the <a href=\"http:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/index.php\/2018\/01\/31\/52-hike-challenge-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">52 Hike Challenge<\/a>)\u2026 and it\u2019s true. While I love <a href=\"http:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/index.php\/2018\/01\/18\/welcome-to-washington\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">living in the Seattle<\/a> area, the hikes and nature areas are spread out in every direction, which takes more time and commitment to visit than the major canyons in Salt Lake. The pros? More diversity, hundreds more options, three national parks in less than 3 hours away, and more epic views! The cons? More planning, driving, and time required to travel to each area.<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-4716 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0003-1024x927.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"927\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0003-1024x927.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0003-300x272.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0003-768x695.jpg 768w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0003-1170x1059.jpg 1170w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0003-585x530.jpg 585w, https:\/\/nextstopadventure.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/2018-08-25_0003.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">I am happy to still have this blog, and while I don\u2019t update it as often as I\u2019d like, I do keep up with it and always plan to catch up on posts when I have more time (aka winter\/spring since photo season is mostly summer and fall).
