Recently, I’ve been noticing a lot more social commentary via social media outlets on the ideals of millennials, traveling and wanderlust. There are a couple different ideas floating around the internet recently, and it’s made me both agree and contemplate how I fit into this all with my personal views.<\/p>\n

Let’s start with a good laugh–\u00a0Socality Barbie.<\/a>\u00a0I love it! Essentially, it’s a photographer in the Pacific Northwest posing [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][hipster] Barbie and her friends in the most ridiculous places in nature and abusing #hashtags in the worst ways. The best part of this? There are so many people out there now that do exactly that, and some of them are my friends. (Sorry guys!) Some of the offenses,\u00a0I am guilty of myself! In my defense, I’ve been taking pictures since I was old enough to hold a camera and my parents have encouraged me to enjoy nature and adventures from a young age– so none of this is a novel concept for me. In fact, since I could drive I have been adventuring within my city and beyond with my friends. I really enjoy being a tourist in my own city. But I’ll save that for another post.<\/p>\n
