  • Salt Lake City’s Best 52 Hikes [Book Review]

Salt Lake City’s Best 52 Hikes [Book Review]

In my spare time, when I’m not hiking or editing photos, I am usually researching for what hikes I want to explore. I’ve read that part of the satisfaction of vacations (or anything you’re excited for) is the actual planning & anticipation of the activity itself. I feel that’s extremely accurate for my experiences. I […]

Goblin Valley State Park & Natural Bridges National Monument

A couple weeks ago, I went on a girls’ weekend trip with my friend Kelli to Southern Utah and Arizona. I got to do one of the coolest adventures I’ve been on, including Antelope Canyon, and see some new red rock spots! It was a fantastic weekend. On Friday, we began our drive south. Since […]

  • Long Weekend in Utah [Wannee’s Visit to Salt Lake City]

Long Weekend in Utah [Wannee’s Visit to Salt Lake City]

Recently, I’ve been very backlogged when it comes to editing photos and blogging. I’ve had several sessions, a few small adventures, and some schedule changes that have contributed to me being so far behind. So here it goes… Wannee’s visit to Utah (which happened a month ago… Oops)! Day 1: Hike the Wasatch It’s rare […]

    Wildflower Hunting at Mt. Timpanogos

You know that feeling when your body is sore, achey, and tired, but you feel so great despite that? That’s me right now. Yesterday, we hiked up to Mt. Timpanogos basin. We didn’t summit the peak, but any hike up into the Timpanogos wilderness is magical— especially when the wildflowers are in full bloom! After […]

    Sundance ZipTour

I love high-flying, heart-thumping types of adventures especially when they feature views of the beautiful Wasatch mountains and high-speeds. It was a nice break from our usual hiking adventures.

  • Camping & Stand Up Paddle Boarding at Causey Reservoir [Ogden]

Camping & Stand Up Paddle Boarding at Causey Reservoir [Ogden]

The beginning of summer always gets me thinking about what warmer weather adventures I should seek out each year. Our friends Rachel & Brandon invited us to go camping somewhere close to Salt Lake City this past weekend. Somewhere that’s been on my summer bucket list for a while is a trip to Causey Reservoir up in Huntsville, Utah (near Ogden). I thought it’d be a fun, quick trip to combine camping and paddling in the Causey Reservoir.
