Brighton is quite the VIP on the blog. He is my future husband– We got married in April 2016 (read all about our story here)! I was super excited for the wedding, and finally it’s official! He’s my adventure buddy, partner in crime, navigator, and love, what can I say?! He works in video games/programming. He is so talented as an artist and with technology. Oh, and he’s super handsome! Totally not fair, but anyways I am super lucky to have him in my life and be able to call him my husband!

She is at Florida State University working on her PhD in Theater Studies. What a rockstar! She is my best friend and only sister, and we are super close. I wish we didn’t live so far away from each other. 🙁 She was also my Maid of Honor for my wedding, and threw me an awesome travel & adventure themed bridal shower in December.

I’ve only grown to love them even more as I’ve gotten older, if that’s even possible. They live in St. Pete, Florida, and were the original adventure couple. My mom is interested in mid-century modern architecture and creative writing. My dad loves building websites and taking photos of old cars. My dad was also a photographer for the Times newspaper for 30 years, and I hope to follow in his photographer footsteps.

The (Fur) Children: Koda, Oliver and Diggles
[/fusion_title][fusion_text]
Koda is our most recent addition to our family as of April 2017. She’s a beautiful, loving golden retriever.
Oliver and Diggles are our other fur children! We named them after the crime-fighting duo in the CW show, Arrow, though their personalities are nothing like the characters.
Oliver is a curious cat which gets him into trouble, but he can be quite loving (in the morning). He also has this way of making small meows in such a way that we think he’s trying to talk. It’s very cute.
Diggles is super shy with guests, and anyone except Brighton. He likes to head-butt Brighton’s chin. He also snores.
